Dear Ladies,
We had a wonderful Coffee Morning last month where we learned
about the broad services that the New Jersey Aids Society (NJAS)
provides for the victims, and their families, who suffer from this
terrible disease. It was also inspiring to hear about the outreach
work these tireless women do, throughout the world, helping women
with Aids. We presented NJAS with a lovely check, and are thankful
to our generous members who make possible such donations to local
and world charities. We are also holding a fun raffle at the Holiday
Market, on November 8, to provide a little more support for them
over the holiday season.
I have received many concerns about our IFC Web Site. I am aware,
as is the Board, that our web site needs updating as well as some work
to make it much more user-friendly. Please know that we are
working on this and have two very talented ladies (Nazima and
Patrizia) who are working with me to upgrade our web site so that it
is both professional and easy for anyone to use. We are always
focused on making the club easily accessible and informative for
women who have an interest in our organization. Before the end of this
year, we promise a web site which makes us all proud.
Keep your Newsletters handy in the next two months, as we have a
number of exciting activities, including shopping trips, luncheons, a
walk around New York enjoying the variety of foods and culture,
hiking outings and much, much more. The Holiday Market will be a
wonderful way to start off the 2 season, with items and information
from our entrepreneurial members. Enjoy the holidays with all your
IFC friends as we celebrate together over the coming months
